Navotas Scholarship Program

In 2013, we were introduced to Pastor William Gumba and his wife Mercy, two incredibly hopeful, devoted and loving Christians who have inspired us all. In Navotas, the cycle of poverty is extreme. A good education is the only escape for many vulnerable children who are otherwise at risk of exploitation. Revolution22 provides scholarships through our program in support of the Fishers of Christ Alliance Church (FCAC), a local church in Navotas (a city located north of Manila in the Philippines)

Each year we raise money in advance for the following year’s costs. Sponsorship includes uniforms, lunches, transportation, classroom supplies & school fees. We also plan to provide a general fund for a summer feeding program, graduation pool party, a Christmas party for the scholars and their families, and for each student to have a doctor’s checkup.

Financial Needs

Elementary cost per Student per year = $245

High School cost per student per year = $345

College cost per stuent per year = $550

Additional: Pool Party, Summer Feeding, Expense account =$8,640

Yearly estimated total = $30,000

Prayer Needs

Pray for Pastor William, Mercy, and the entire congregation of Fishers of Christ Alliance Church as they love and support these students and their families. Pray for each of the students and their families’ physical and spiritual health. Pray that the chains of poverty would continue to be broken in Navotas and the gospel would advance into the darkness for the glory of Jesus alone.
