Kids Announcements 2022-02-24

This Sunday, Kyle and Stephanie Kersh are sharing with the kids what they will be doing on their mission to Navotas, Philippines. This is an exciting opportunity for the kids to ask questions, learn about missionaries, and get to know Kyle and Stephanie!

Here are some questions to start your discussion:
Ask what they learned about missionaries. What does a missionary do? Would you ever consider being a missionary?
Ask them what they learned about Kyle and Stephanie! What will they be doing during their time in the Philippines?
Did they share any prayer requests? What are other good ways to support them? (Writing letters!)
Pray together for Kyle and Stephanie and their time in the Philippines.
Our Unit 7 Bible memory passage for Deep + Wide/TruthSeekers is 1 John 4:7-12 (NLT). Our Pathfinders classroom is memorizing verse 10. Prize Day will be on March 6!

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
